signup &gt;&gt; login &gt;&gt; create character (name, sex, race, class). Items added to the game will all have IDs no duped items from spawns. There will be a pool of items (limited) from which characters will draw loot from. Items will be added when GMs feel it is necessary. The whole reasoning for this is to prevent duping. It will be impossible to dupe because the items have IDs that will be MD5 encrypted (basically an item password)

IDEAS:

Zone Rank: You can have a special rank in every zone! Imagine being King of 3 different zones! These ranks could range from passerby &gt;&gt; citizen &gt;&gt; governor &gt;&gt; prince/princess &gt;&gt;King/Queen! And rank has its priviledges! Maybe a governor draws taxes from all the citizens and town merchants. Merchants would pay tax each time a player buys something and this tax would go into that zone's economy bank. We could display the economy of that zone, which could draw interest if the economy is good, and players could boost the economy by playing/buying there. Everything could become reciprocal.

To become a zone rank you MUST DEFEAT the owner of that rank! So, if you had enough points to become governor, then you would have to fight Governor Soandso and defeat him to gain the title.

The question arises: Ok, say I want to become governor, but Governor Soandso hasn't been online for awhile (2 weeks +). Solution: Every ranked player must fight a contender at least once a week, or the title is left open. If left open, then the challenging player will fight an NPC governor. 

Another idea: Display the governor's expiration (or time that he must fight before losing his position). Display this so everyone can get ready to fight the NPC governor or challenge the player! 

PYRAMID! 

As the rank goes up the time goes down! ALL FIGHTS ARE RANDOM! This keeps people from cheating. The KING will decide to fight for his position from a list of challengers, but HE CANNOT CHOOSE who the challenger is! A cheater would pick his friends, who in turn would allow him to win, thus noone would have a chance at being King. A way of cheating would be to gimp his own equipment so the fight would be in the King's favor. All ranks below Prince can pick their fights. 

When a player becomes King he brings that zone under his flag! This means that the entire zone faction changes! So people who may have had great faction there, will now have bad faction and vice versa. Whoever the King is loyal to will become the zone's faction.

ZONE FACTION: 

The more time spent in a zone buying, and fighting the local enemies will automatically gain a player status and rank (faction) with that zone, and thereby gaining status with the governor/king/etc.

Fighting players loyal to a particular zone will lose faction with that zone! So everything is a teeter totter of possibilities! 

SCENARIO: There will be 5 different factions in the game. Factions will be spread throughout the zones(40 zones ). There will be a corresponding color and flag for that Faction.

King/Queen - limit 1 - CT: 2 days - CANNOT choose challenger - Outter zone challenger: Yes Benefits: Kingly Power, based on the faction. (example: Scavenger's Storm - user gains advanced armor and spell power and hit point/mana regen and +20 to all saves, plus Damage shield (based on faction [cold, fire, disease]) + Gains tribute from all loyal zones(same faction) 

Prince/Princess - limit 2 - CT: 3 days - CANNOT choose challenger - Outter zone challenger: Yes Benefits: Gains lesser tribute from all loyal zones (a percentage of the king's tribute) + The King's Honor (spell) - HP/MANA advantage +10 to all saves 

Knight - limit 7 - CT: 5 days - CAN choose challenger - Local challenger only 

Governor - limit 1 - CT: 7 days - CAN choose challenger - Local challenger only 

Captain of the Guard - limit 1 - CT: 2 weeks - Local challenger only 

Guard - No Limit - CT: indefinite - Cannot lose this rank

ZONE LAYOUT

As soon as you enter the zone you will see (King's Flag &amp; King's Message below it) Upper right hand corner. This will give instant recognition to the King of the zone and allow you to know the zone's current faction. Whoever the King is loyal to will become the zone's faction. 

SPECTATORS

When a person comes to the web site, the first page they come to will instantly immerse them into the game, even though they've never played. They can view chat messages, fights, etc. without having to sign up first. 

SLIDING SCALE MAGIC VS MELEE - Solution for class type-casting

A meter of points that can be used to balance out magic vs melee. As you use more magic, your melee points decrease, and vice versa. This way, everyone is whatever 'class' they desire. It's solely based on the user's point balancing. (Example: "To wear that sword requires 200 melee points. You only have 170. Try removing a 30 point magic device in order to equip the sword, or find a lesser melee weapon") So, now we have Class Points, along with Mana Points and Hit Points.

ADMINISTRATION CONTROL

The GMs will see the total in-game item count. No items will ever be duped. Keep a running total of items from the week, and a log of who populated which items. We will keep the game economy like a real economy, not a kill monster - loot dupe game. Just say 'NO!' To vendor trash.

GAMEPLAY IDEAS 

Player will enter a zone, say Morleoc &gt;&gt;&gt; Player will put self up as a challenger or pick from challengers or just fight zone monsters. &gt;&gt;&gt; Challenges will have wagers of items or gold &gt;&gt;&gt; PHP will determine the entire script of the fight when challenge is accepted and return the entire fight and create a link to the fight (example: RedWizard VS BlueORC). *PLUS* - If possible, create a flash movie or video that can be posted to YouTube of the fight!</pre>

<p>Ok, this is inside my World.as class</p>
<p>You have to set the dynamically created movieclips into an array after you create them and then place them into the array with their iterated number (placing it into the array after creation &#8220;tiles[tileNumber]=t; tileNumber++)<br />
so then we can access the tiles with: tiles[3].x, etc.. not bad at all.<br />
